21st Century Insurance (Official Website) was founded in 1959 by Louis W. Foster. Originally, the company was called 20th Century Insurance. The company is a subsidiary of Farmers Insurance. It mainly provides auto and car insurance to the people in California, where its headquarters is located.

Despite being a very old a reputable company, the recent experience of people with the 21st century Insurance has been very poor. The customer dissatisfaction especially grew after the takeover by Farmers Insurance back in 2009. While having a big brand behind gave the 21st-century insurance financial strength and credibility, after some years, their service quality deteriorated. Right now, the company operates in Woodland Hills, California, under a toggle brand.

As of July 2024, 21st Century Insurance no longer gives online quotes directly. They operate via Toggle, a sister company of 21st Century Insurance. You can get a quote from their website or by calling 1-855-864-1530.

To cancel an existing policy, you need to send a Fax or Email to the 21st century Insurance Company with the cancellation letter(they do not get cancellation requests on call). However, you can cancel a new policy before it goes into effect by calling 21st Century at 1-800-241-1188.

21st century Insurance has several insurance coverage options for auto and car insurance. Their standard insurance coverage includes –

21st Century Insurance – How to Submit a Claim

Right after the accident, the First step is to use the Farmers Insurance company’s HelpPoint Claim Services to contact an auto insurance claims representative. Here you have two cases: either only your vehicle is involved in an accident, or another vehicle is also involved.

If it’s just your vehicle, an expert will assess the damage and prepare a report estimating the damage to your vehicle. If another vehicle is also involved, an additional investigation will be launched with the help of law enforcement to determine the cause of the incident and the party at fault.

Your job is to immediately call the HelpPoint Claim Services after ensuring the safety of the passenger in your car. Most claims are reviewed and resolved within 7-15 working days after the accident.

Apart from that, factual information is that the company had suddenly switched to Toogle Insurance without any prior warnings, pissing off many loyal customers.
