Despite being a very old a reputable company, the recent experience of people with the 21st century Insurance has been very poor. The customer dissatisfaction especially grew after the takeover by Farmers Insurance back in 2009. This is not a good sign for any company. Based on our research, the biggest issue people talked about was the customer service and the availability of agents. Many people complained about having problems connecting to agents and customer services while filing claims, trying to change their policy, or trying to pay their bills.

According to them, the average hold time is about 30 minutes, which is a lot. While the reviews before 2017 were good, after 2017 their service quality declined. Apart from that, factual information is that the company had suddenly switched to Toogle Insurance without any prior warnings, pissing off many loyal customers.
